Hydraulic separator Termojet Mega in thermal insulation with base HS-31

Hydraulic separator GS-31 — industrial hydraulic separator of the Termojet Mega series for boiler rooms with output up to 450 kW at ΔT=10 °C (up to 920 kW at ΔT=20 °C). The massive body with a diameter of 270 mm and maximum flow rate Gmax 39,7 m³/h make the GS-31 the solution for commercial and industrial facilities where standard hydraulic separators cannot handle the volume of heat-transfer fluid.

Operating principle: the hydraulic separator creates a low-pressure-drop zone between the primary circuit (boiler/cascade) and the secondary consumer circuits. When flow rates in the circuits differ, the surplus or deficit of heat-transfer fluid passes through the separator body — the boiler and consumer pumps no longer compete for flow. Additionally, the unit performs a separation function: dissolved gases and micro-bubbles rise to the top and are discharged through the air vent; fine sludge settles at the bottom and is drained through the drain valve. The result is a longer service life for the boiler, pumps, and all boiler room equipment.

Applications: industrial and commercial boiler rooms, boiler cascades with a total output of up to 920 kW, centralised building heating systems, heat substations.
