TJ-CA-DN32 — a microbubble and dissolved gas separator for DN32 heating systems. Designed for systems with an output of 30–60 kW where DN32 is the main diameter of the supply pipe. Installed after the boiler on the supply and continuously removes gas from the heating fluid without any maintenance.

How It Works

Hot heating fluid from the boiler enters the expanded separator chamber — the flow velocity drops sharply. The honeycomb insert of welded copper wires placed inside significantly increases the contact surface area: air microbubbles adhere to the wires, merge with one another, and grow to a size at which buoyancy pushes them upward. From there they are removed through the automatic air vent on the cap. Dissolved gas in the heating fluid also exits as microbubbles when pressure drops and temperature rises — and is captured in the same way. The insert requires neither cleaning nor replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a separate automatic air vent needed if a separator is already installed?
The TJ-CA-DN32 air separator already has a built-in automatic air vent on the cap — a separate device in that section is not required. Automatic air vents on radiators remain in place and release large bubbles at the high points of the system; the separator handles the finer gas circulating in the pipework.

How do I choose the DN of an air separator: DN20, DN25, DN32, DN40, or DN50?
The DN of the separator must match the connection DN. For boilers up to 20 kW — typically DN20 or DN25; 30–60 kW — DN32; 60–100 kW — DN40; above 100 kW — DN50 and larger. Also take into account the actual heating fluid flow rate and the maximum permitted for the chosen DN.
