Hydraulic separator HS-34F is a flanged low-loss header (hydraulic separator, thermo-hydraulic distributor) of the Termojet Mega series, supplied in thermal insulation and with a base for floor mounting. A body of 425 mm diameter and a maximum flow of Gmax 95.1 m³/h cover a boiler room of up to 1100 kW at ΔT=10 °C and up to 2200 kW at ΔT=20 °C. All four branches are flanged DN 150 (GOST 12820-80, PN16), so the unit connects straight to the pipework without adapters.
How it works: the hydraulic separator creates a zone of low pressure loss between the primary circuit (boiler or cascade) and the secondary consumer circuits. When the flow rates differ, the surplus or shortfall of water passes through the separator body — boiler pumps and consumer pumps stop competing for flow, and the boiler settles into its design regime. At the same time the unit cleans the system: dissolved gases and microbubbles rise to the top and leave through the air vent, while sludge settles in the lower part of the body and is drained through the drain valve. The insulation removes heat losses in the boiler room and prevents condensation on the body.
Applications: industrial and commercial boiler rooms, boiler cascades, heat substations, systems with many pump circuits. The flanged version is chosen where the pipework is already built on flanges and a demountable joint is needed for servicing without cutting pipes. What it is installed with. To connect the separator to a distribution manifold, use the KCH150/150 kit from the Termojet Mega series — the distribution manifolds themselves are there too, for the required number of circuits. Each circuit downstream of the manifold is easiest to assemble from ready-made Termojet pump groups. If the system water is dirty or the circuit carries a lot of air, add air and dirt separators alongside: the low-loss header removes the bulk of gas and sludge, and the separator polishes the water.
