Description
Termojet No.06 recessed manifold cabinet — the largest cabinet in the series for concealed installation of an underfloor heating manifold with 14–16 outlets. It is installed flush into a wall niche: once the doors are closed, the underfloor heating assembly is completely hidden, takes up no space, and does not affect the interior. Dimensions: 1130 mm × 575 mm × 110 mm (width × height × depth). Housing — galvanised steel with decorative doors.
Technical Specifications
Purpose and Installation Principle
The cabinet serves two functions: it protects the manifold and pipework from mechanical damage and conceals them within the interior. For recessed installation, a niche is prepared in the wall to match the cabinet dimensions; the niche does not require absolute precision — adjustable brackets allow levelling the cabinet flush with the wall surface after installation. The doors are secured with a latch or lock; when closed, the surface looks like part of the wall finish.
Application Scenarios
- New construction of a cottage or townhouse with a large system of 14–16 circuits. The niche is formed during wall construction — cabinet and manifold installation is carried out before the final finish.
- Major renovation with plaster removal. The niche is chiselled or milled into a brick or aerated concrete wall for recessed cabinet installation.
- Utility room or boiler room. Even in non-residential spaces, concealed installation frees up usable space and prevents accidental damage to pipework.
Advantages
- Concealed installation — the manifold, flow meters, valve, and supply pipework are fully hidden within the wall; no visible pipework in the interior.
- Galvanised steel — the housing does not corrode or deform even in humid rooms (bathroom, boiler room).
- Decorative doors — when closed, the cabinet blends into the wall finish.
- Depth 110 mm — accommodates standard Termojet manifolds without a pump-mixing unit; if a unit is planned, consider an external cabinet or separate unit installation.
- Largest cabinet in the series for 14–16 outlet manifolds — no need to choose between functionality and aesthetics.
Selecting a Cabinet by Number of Outlets
The Termojet recessed cabinet series covers all manifold sizes from 2 to 16 outlets. Cabinet No.06 (1130×575×110 mm) is suitable for a 15-outlet manifold with flow meters and similar manifolds with valves. For smaller systems, smaller cabinets are available — the full series is in the Termojet underfloor heating catalogue. If a wall niche is not possible, the alternative is the Termojet No.06 external manifold cabinet of the same size for surface mounting.
Frequently Asked Questions
What niche depth is required for cabinet No.06?
Cabinet depth is 110 mm. Add to this the wall thickness into which the niche is cut: in a brick wall, 120–125 mm is sufficient for a cabinet with a manifold and no pump-mixing unit. If a unit installation is planned, a greater depth or a separate space for the unit nearby will be required.
Is cabinet No.06 suitable for a 14- or 16-outlet manifold?
Yes. Cabinet No.06 is designed for manifolds from 14 to 16 outlets inclusive. For a 15-outlet manifold with a length of 830 mm, the cabinet width of 1130 mm leaves sufficient space for pipework connections and comfortable access to the valves.
