Description

Termojet manifold with flow meters, 15 outlets — a solution for large residential and commercial underfloor heating systems. Body made of AISI 304 stainless steel, 1.6 mm thick, length 830 mm, fifteen flow meters 0–5 l/min ensure precise balancing of each of the 15 independent circuits. Connection G1" / G3/4" Eurocone and sockets M30×1.5 — ready for zone control without additional fittings.

Operating Principle and Hydraulic Balancing

With fifteen circuits, the difference in loop lengths between rooms can reach 3–5 times. Without balancing, the shortest loops will "steal" flow, while the longest ones will remain underheated. The flow meter (rotameter) at each outlet shows the actual flow rate in l/min: the installer or owner can directly see which circuit is receiving too much and which too little. The flow meter's regulating valve throttles flow in short loops until all 15 circuits are balanced. The result is uniform floor temperature in every room with no overheating or cold zones. The M30×1.5 sockets accept standard thermal actuators for zone-by-zone control from room thermostats.

Applications

  • Large private house or cottage. 15 outlets cover systems with an area of 250–400 m² — the entire house on a single manifold assembly without cascading. Combine with a mixing unit for the manifold to reduce the temperature from the boiler.
  • Commercial facilities. Office, hotel, restaurant, or retail space — where underfloor heating needs to be divided into zones with individual control. Each of the 15 circuits can be connected to a separate thermostat.
  • System with a heat pump. A large facility with a heat pump and 15 floor circuits is the ideal combination for maximum energy efficiency. The 15-outlet manifold evenly distributes the low-temperature heat carrier from the heat pump throughout the facility.
  • Installation in cabinet No. 06. The 830 mm manifold fits the manifold cabinet No. 06 (14–16 outlets, 1130 mm wide) — concealed wall mounting or surface installation.

Advantages of the Termojet 15-Outlet Manifold

  • Stainless steel AISI 304 — chemically neutral to glycol-based heat carrier, no rust or deposits even after 10–15 years of operation.
  • 15 flow meters 0–5 l/min — full coverage of all circuits without the need for an additional balancing valve on each loop.
  • M30×1.5 sockets — standard thread compatible with mass-market thermal actuators. For 15-zone control — an advantage over competitors' non-standard threads.
  • G 3/4" Eurocone — connection of PE-RT or PE-Xa pipe without reducers or adapters.
  • Complete assembly — valves with thermometers, air vents, drain valves included in the supply.

Underfloor Heating and Heat Pump

A large facility with 15 floor zones and a heat pump is the most efficient low-temperature heating configuration. The heat pump delivers heat carrier at 35–45°C, which is optimal for underfloor heating and provides a COP of 4–5. The Termojet 15-outlet manifold evenly distributes this heat carrier, while the flow meters prevent any zone from "stealing" flow from its neighbours. Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need flow meters if there are thermal actuators on each outlet?
Thermal actuators control the switching on and off of the circuit based on room temperature — but they do not balance the hydraulics between circuits. With 15 open circuits, the flow difference between a short and a long loop can be 3–4 times. A flow meter allows you to set the balance once when commissioning the system — after that, the thermal actuators only switch the already-balanced circuits on and off.

Can I split 15 circuits into two smaller manifolds instead of one large one?
Technically yes, but a single 15-outlet manifold is more compact and simpler in terms of installation and hydraulics: one main line connection instead of two, one service assembly. If space is limited, refer to the Termojet underfloor heating system catalogue — it has manifolds from 2 to 15 outlets for any configuration.
