Description

Termojet manifold with flow meters for 13 outlets — a distribution unit for large underfloor heating systems where the number of heating circuits exceeds ten. Made from AISI 304 stainless steel 1.6 mm thick, the manifold withstands pressure up to 10 bar and temperature up to 110°C — with a large margin above the working parameters of an underfloor heating system. Each of the 13 outlets is equipped with a flow meter in the range of 0–5 l/min for individual circuit balancing.

Technical Specifications

Operating Principle

The heat carrier enters through the G 1" main inlet and is distributed across 13 circuits simultaneously. The flow meter with a transparent cap on each outlet shows the current flow rate — the installer sees the imbalance between circuits and corrects it with the adjustment nut. In a large house, the length difference between the shortest and longest circuit can be several times greater — without balancing, the longest loop receives half the heat carrier, and the floor in that room remains cold. M30×1.5 sockets on the return manifold accept actuators for zone control: each room receives an independent temperature regime.

Application Scenarios

  • Large private house 200–400 m². More than 10 rooms — a 13-outlet manifold with precise balancing is needed so each zone receives exactly as much heat as required.
  • Cottage or townhouse. Underfloor heating on several floors through one manifold; flow meter balancing eliminates the need to call a hydraulic specialist to tune the system.
  • Zone automation for 13 rooms. Each M30×1.5 socket accepts an actuator; paired with room thermostats, the system switches circuits on and off as needed, saving energy.
  • Heat pump system. A large underfloor heating area is a large low-temperature surface; the heat pump operates under conditions for maximum COP.

Advantages

  • Stainless steel AISI 304 — none of the 13 circuits will become a source of corrosion or clogging.
  • 13 flow meters 0–5 l/min — full balancing of a large system without additional equipment.
  • Outlet pitch of 50 mm with a length of 730 mm — compact placement even for a large manifold.
  • M30×1.5 sockets — the mass standard for actuators; expand automation at any time without replacing the manifold.
  • Complete assembly kit: valves with thermometers, check valve, air vents and drain valves included.

Underfloor Heating and Heat Pump

The larger the underfloor heating area, the more efficient the heat pump operation: a large low-temperature surface allows reducing the heat carrier temperature to 30–38°C, and every 5°C reduction in supply gives a COP increase of 10–15%. The Termojet 13-outlet manifold is the core of such a system in a large house. About heating design with a heat pump — on the website of Termojet heat pumps.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a pump-mixing unit needed for a 13-outlet manifold?
It depends on the heat source. With a boiler with a supply temperature of 60°C and above — a mixing unit is mandatory: it will reduce the temperature to 30–43°C. With a heat pump that already supplies 35–40°C, the unit may not be needed or will act as a hydraulic separator.

Which cabinet fits a 13-outlet manifold?
For 13 outlets with a length of 730 mm, the manifold cabinet No. 05 (12–14 outlets, 965×575 mm) is suitable. If a mixing unit is installed nearby — take into account its dimensions and if necessary choose a wider cabinet or install the unit separately.
