Description

Termojet recessed manifold cabinet No. 03 — a metal cabinet built into a wall niche for concealed installation of an underfloor heating system manifold. Dimensions 715×575×110 mm, designed for a manifold with 8–10 outlets. Galvanised steel, decorative door with white coating.

Technical Specifications

Purpose and Mounting Principle

The cabinet is set into a niche in the wall — the manifold, valves, and pipe connections are hidden from view, and the room looks neat. The door closes and opens for maintenance or seasonal adjustment of flow meters. The depth of 110 mm is sufficient for a manifold without a pump-mixing unit — if the unit is installed together, its projection must be checked. Cabinet No. 03 is designed specifically for 8–10-outlet manifolds: a smaller size (e.g., No. 02 for 6–8 outlets) will not accommodate a manifold of sufficient length, while a larger one will leave excess space in the niche.

Application Scenarios

  • New construction. The niche for the cabinet is formed during wall construction — installing the cabinet in fresh masonry is the most convenient method. The cabinet is installed before the screed is poured and the pipes are laid.
  • Reconstruction. In an aerated-concrete or brick wall the niche is cut with an angle grinder or hammer drill. If cutting a niche is not possible, use the external cabinet No. 03.
  • 9-outlet manifold. The recessed cabinet No. 03 is the right choice for the manifold with flow meters for 9 outlets or the manifold with valves for 9 outlets.
  • Interior aesthetics. The recessed cabinet does not take up usable space in the hallway or utility area — the wall remains flat and the door looks like part of the finishing.

Advantages

  • Concealed installation — the manifold, connections, valves, and thermal actuators are hidden in the wall; only the door is visible on the surface.
  • Galvanised steel — resistant to moisture typical of utility areas and hallways.
  • Correct size — cabinet No. 03 matches exactly 8–10-outlet manifolds and leaves no excess space in the niche.
  • Decorative door — the white colour blends with standard room finishes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which cabinet size should I choose for my manifold?
Use the number of manifold outlets as a guide: No. 00 (2–4 outlets), No. 01 (4–6), No. 02 (6–8), No. 03 (8–10), No. 04 (10–12), No. 05 (12–14), No. 06 (14–16). If a pump-mixing unit is installed alongside, check the total height of the assembly. Find the right size in the Termojet underfloor heating system catalogue.

What is the difference between the recessed and external cabinet?
The recessed cabinet No. 03 is installed in a wall niche — depth 110 mm. The external cabinet No. 03 is fixed to the wall surface — depth 125 mm; it takes up space in the room but does not require cutting a niche. The dimensions 715×575 mm are identical in width and similar in height; the choice depends on whether a niche can be made during construction or renovation.
