Description
Termojet external manifold cabinet No. 03 — a surface-mount metal cabinet for open installation of an underfloor heating manifold directly onto a wall surface. Dimensions 715×600×125 mm, designed for a manifold with 8–10 outlets. Galvanised steel, decorative doors with white coating. Unlike a recessed cabinet, no wall niche is required — installed where cutting a niche is impossible or impractical.

Purpose and installation principle
The cabinet is fastened to the wall with anchor bolts — no niche required. The manifold, valves, and pipe connections are housed inside; the doors protect the contents from damage and give a tidy appearance. Depth 125 mm — 15 mm greater than the recessed version, providing more space for connecting supply pipes. Height 600 mm provides sufficient vertical space for a 9-outlet manifold with pipe connections.
Compared with the recessed cabinet No. 03: greater depth (125 vs. 110 mm) and height (600 vs. 575 mm); wall-mounted without a niche; occupies space in the room rather than a recess in the wall.
Application scenarios
- Renovation without wall demolition. In existing buildings with monolithic concrete or load-bearing walls where cutting a niche is difficult or impossible — the external cabinet solves the problem without destructive work.
- Utility room. Boiler room or technical corridor where aesthetics are secondary — surface-mount installation is fast and simple.
- Manifold with 8–10 outlets. Cabinet No. 03 is designed for a 9-outlet manifold with flow meters or a 9-outlet manifold with valves — complete with connections and valves.
- Temporary or test installation. When installing before finishing works — the external cabinet protects the manifold and can be easily removed if needed.
Advantages
- No niche required — mounts on any flat wall; no chasing works.
- Greater depth of 125 mm — easier connection of supply pipes and fittings compared to the recessed cabinet.
- Galvanised steel — resistant to humidity in utility areas and corridors.
- Correct size — No. 03 matches manifolds with 8–10 outlets; no wasted space or shortage.
- Decorative doors — white colour suits standard interiors.
Frequently asked questions
How does the external cabinet differ from the recessed one — apart from the fixing method?
Recessed cabinet No. 03 is hidden in a niche: 715×575×110 mm, takes up no room space. The external cabinet mounts on the wall: 715×600×125 mm, projecting 125 mm from the wall surface. The external cabinet is 15 mm deeper — that is extra space for supply pipes. If cutting a niche is feasible, the recessed cabinet gives a better aesthetic result.
Which cabinet to choose if a pump-mixing unit is installed together with the manifold?
When installing the unit and manifold together, the overall height of the assembly must be taken into account. The standard cabinet No. 03 (height 600 mm) may not accommodate a unit + 9-outlet manifold in a vertical arrangement. In that case, consider larger-size cabinets or placing the unit separately beside the cabinet.
