Operating Principle

The XPS 25/6 is a wet-rotor circulating pump: the rotor is immersed directly in the heat-transfer fluid, which cools and lubricates it. The absence of shaft seals and external lubrication means quiet operation and no scheduled maintenance throughout the service life.

The ceramic motor shaft is resistant to corrosion and abrasive wear. The copper stator winding ensures reliable heat resistance during prolonged operation at elevated fluid temperatures up to 110 °C. The pump operates at a fixed power of 100 W without electronic speed control — a simple and reliable option for basic heating systems.

XPS 25/6 is a fixed-power pump without electronic speed control: it consumes 100 W regardless of the system load. The APE series has an ECM motor with a frequency converter that reduces consumption to 5 W at minimum load. For new construction or upgrading to a more economical option, consider APE 25/60.

Is XPS suitable for replacing an old 180 mm pump?
