Termojet SPE12/1.4 recirculation pump — a compact, energy-saving pump for domestic hot water (DHW) recirculation systems. It keeps hot water ready on demand: when a tap is opened, hot water flows immediately — no waiting and no wasteful draining of cold water into the drain. Connection ½″ BSP, maximum flow rate 0,6 m³/h, maximum head 1,4 m, power consumption up to 9 W. The permanent-magnet motor ensures efficient operation with minimal electricity consumption.

The recirculation pump maintains continuous or controlled circulation of hot water from the boiler through the distribution network and back to the boiler. Without a pump, every time a tap is opened, 5–15 l of cold water drains away before hot water arrives. With the pump, hot water waits ready in the pipe.
The SPE12/1.4 pump is installed on the return line from the furthest tap to the boiler. The thermostat switches the pump off when the set temperature in the return line is reached — the pump does not run continuously, but only maintains readiness.
Old recirculation pumps without a PM motor consume 40–80 W and run around the clock. The SPE12/1.4 pump with a permanent-magnet motor consumes up to 9 W — even with continuous operation this is less than a single light bulb. Stainless steel 304 in the pump housing is suitable for drinking water supply and is corrosion-resistant in DHW conditions. The ceramic shaft ensures long, trouble-free operation without maintenance.
A heat pump is often also used for domestic hot water via a storage boiler. In such a system, the SPE12/1.4 recirculation pump ensures comfort in bathrooms and the kitchen without wasteful waiting for hot water. Is a separate thermostat required for the SPE12/1.4 pump?
It is recommended to install a thermostat on the return line — it will switch off the pump when the required temperature is reached, preventing needless operation. The SPE12/1.4S version comes with a timer and thermostat — please confirm availability when ordering.
Is the SPE12/1.4 suitable for drinking water?
Yes. The stainless steel 304 housing and pH range 6,5–8,5 comply with DHW system requirements. The pump contains no components made from materials prohibited for contact with drinking water.
