Termojet SPE12/1.4S recirculation pump — a low-power pump for domestic hot water (DHW) recirculation systems with built-in timer and thermostat. Threaded connection ½″ BSP, maximum flow rate 0,6 m³/h, head 1,4 m, power consumption up to 9 W. Thanks to continuous recirculation in the return circuit, hot water appears at the tap instantly — without waiting and without wasteful draining of cold water into the drain.

Operating Modes: Timer and Thermostat

Timer. The pump switches on and off on a schedule — for example, only during morning and evening peak hot water demand hours. At night and during periods when hot water is not needed, the pump is off — electricity consumption is minimal.

Thermostat. The pump automatically switches off when the set temperature in the return line is reached and switches on again when it drops. This prevents overheating of the return circuit and avoids pointless pump operation when the water is already hot.

The combination of timer and thermostat ensures minimum consumption with maximum comfort: the pump does not run when hot water is already in the line or when it is not needed.

• Private houses and apartments with a boiler, where there are more than 5–6 metres of pipe between the water heater and the distant tap — without recirculation, 5–15 l of cold water is drained each time.
• Hotels, guest houses, offices — where instant hot water is a comfort requirement.

Why a Permanent-Magnet Motor Is More Efficient

Old recirculation pumps consume 40–80 W continuously. The SPE12/1.4S consumes up to 9 W — a permanent-magnet motor with low standby consumption. When operating with a timer (for example, 8 hours per day), the actual daily consumption is less than 72 Wh — less than the cost of one cup of coffee.

What is the difference between SPE12/1.4 and SPE12/1.4S?
