Rotary air separator Termojet Dn40 (1 1/2")

The Termojet DN40 angle air separator performs the same function as the straight type — it removes microbubbles and dissolved gas from the heat-transfer fluid — but has a key design feature: the swivel connection allows installation at 90° without additional elbows and fittings. Thread 1 1/2", flow capacity 6,8 m³/h, limiting parameters — 110°C and 10 bar, body — brass.

How it works

The heat-transfer fluid enters the expanded separator chamber from below or from the side (depending on the connection scheme). The flow velocity drops sharply, and the coalescing insert begins to collect microbubbles: they accumulate on the developed surface of the insert, merge into larger bubbles, and rise upward. The automatic air vent in the top cap releases air without manual intervention. The swivel connection between the inlet and outlet ports is fixed in the required position during installation — for convenience when pipework is in a non-standard arrangement.

Where and how it is used

The angle separator is the solution for cases where a standard straight device does not fit the layout due to space constraints or the direction of the pipework.

• Boiler rooms in basements and utility spaces. Pipes often run right next to walls or beams — the swivel connection allows the separator to be fitted into any configuration without rewelding the pipework.
• Manifold cabinets and distribution units. Where there is no straight section between pipes for mounting a straight separator, the swivel connection ensures correct installation.
• System retrofits. When modernising an existing boiler room, the angle separator is integrated into already laid pipework without modification.
• Medium-capacity DN40 systems. The 6,8 m³/h flow capacity covers medium-scale boiler rooms and commercial systems.
