The Termojet TJV7G20 angled air separator solves the deaeration task where a straight unit does not fit the installation space: the 90° angled connection allows the separator to be installed in a narrow boiler room, distribution cabinet, or technical compartment without additional fittings and bypasses. DN20 (3/4") is the optimal size for boilers and heat exchangers with an equivalent connection port.

The operating principle is identical to a straight separator: the heat carrier slows down in an expanded chamber, microbubbles settle on a coalescent insert made of welded copper wires, merge into larger bubbles, and are discharged through the automatic air vent at the top. The angled connection does not limit the deaeration efficiency in any way — the body design provides a full flow-deceleration zone regardless of the connection orientation.
Does an angled separator differ in efficiency from a straight one?
No. Deaeration efficiency is determined by the chamber size and the coalescent insert area — not by the connection orientation. The angled design delivers the same quality of microbubble removal as the straight DN20 counterpart.
When is it better to choose an angled rather than a straight separator?
When there is no free straight section of sufficient length between the boiler and the nearest pipe bend for installing a straight separator. Or when space in the cabinet needs to be saved by changing the pipe direction directly at the separator body.
