Termojet DN40 air separator — a device for continuous removal of microbubbles and dissolved gases from the heating system fluid. Connection DN40 (G 1½"), flow capacity 6.8 m³/h, maximum temperature 110°C, pressure 10 bar, body — brass. Installed once and operates continuously without maintenance.
The heat carrier enters the expanded separator chamber, where the flow velocity drops sharply. Inside the chamber is a coalescent insert made of wire mesh with a large specific surface area. Microbubbles adhere to the insert surface, attract one another, and merge into larger bubbles. The combined bubbles rise to the top, where the automatic air vent expels them from the system. Air no longer returns to the system.

The air separator is installed at the hottest point of the system — immediately after the boiler on the supply pipeline. This is where gas solubility is lowest and microbubbles leave the heat carrier most actively. Install once — the device maintains fluid cleanliness continuously thereafter.
Industry studies indicate that deaeration of a heating system can yield up to 13% gas savings (in combination with dirt removal) — by restoring the full thermal conductivity of the heat carrier and protecting the heat exchanger from scale build-up.
For complete system protection, install the DN40 air and dirt separator alongside the air separator — a 2-in-1 option when a single mounting point for both air and sludge removal is needed.
