Rotary air separator Termojet Dn32 (1 1/4")

The Termojet DN32 angle air separator is a device for removing microbubbles from the heat-transfer fluid with a non-standard angled connection. The inlet and outlet are positioned at 90° to each other, allowing installation where there is not enough straight pipe run for a straight-type separator. Connection DN32 (G 1¼"), flow capacity 5,0 m³/h, maximum temperature 110°C, pressure 10 bar, body — brass.

How it works

The heat-transfer fluid enters the body through the lower port and passes through a coalescing insert — a wire mesh with a large specific surface area. Microbubbles adhere to the insert, merge into larger bubbles, and rise to the automatic air vent at the top. Flow exits through the side port at 90° to the inlet. The swivel connection allows the body to be oriented in any convenient position without reworking the pipework.

Where and how it is used

The angle separator is chosen when installation space is limited and a straight connection is impossible or difficult. This is a typical situation in boiler rooms with tightly packed equipment, in manifold cabinets, or when mounting in a recess.

• Boiler room with tight installation. There is no sufficient free straight run between the boiler and the pump unit — the angle separator fits into the pipe bend.
• Manifold cabinet. Where pipes run at an angle and a standard straight separator does not fit.
• System retrofit. When adding equipment to already installed pipework, minimal reworking of the distribution layout is required.
• Medium-capacity systems. DN32 covers systems where DN25 is no longer sufficient for the heat-transfer fluid flow rate.

Installed after the boiler on the supply pipeline — at the hottest point in the system, where microbubbles come out of solution most actively.
