The Termojet DN32 air separator is a device for the continuous removal of microbubbles and dissolved gases from the heat-transfer fluid in heating systems. Connection DN32 (thread 1 1/4"), flow rate 5.0 m³/h, operating temperature up to 110°C, pressure up to 10 bar. Body — brass. Installed immediately after the boiler on the supply pipeline.

How It Works
The heat-transfer fluid enters the enlarged separator chamber — the flow velocity drops sharply. Inside the chamber is a coalescent insert made of welded copper wires with a large specific surface area. Air microbubbles, invisible to the naked eye and unable to rise in a standard pipe, «adhere» to the insert surface. There they merge with one another (coalescence), grow and rise upward to the automatic air vent, which expels them from the system. The process occurs continuously and automatically throughout the entire service life of the boiler.
Where and How It Is Used
After a gas boiler. DN32 (1 1/4") is the typical pipeline size for boilers with an output of 25 to 45 kW. Install on the supply pipeline immediately after the boiler: that is the hottest point of the system, where dissolved gas is released from the heat-transfer fluid most actively.
After a solid-fuel or pellet boiler. Under varying load conditions, gas release changes — the separator provides continuous purification regardless of the boiler operating mode.
Underfloor heating system. Microbubbles in underfloor heating circuits cause uneven heating and pipe noise. The air separator solves this problem at the supply level, protecting the entire circuit at once.
Pump protection. Air in the heat-transfer fluid causes cavitation and accelerated wear of the pump impeller. A permanently clean heat-transfer fluid extends the service life of the circulation pump.
Boiler room with multiple circuits. DN32 covers medium-capacity systems. For larger boiler rooms, consider DN40 or DN50.
Advantages
The coalescent insert captures microbubbles invisible to the naked eye — something a standard Majevski valve or automatic air vent cannot do.
Install once — and the separator operates continuously without replacing the filter element and without maintenance.
Quiet heating: microbubbles are the main cause of gurgling and bubbling in pipes and radiators. After fitting the separator, the system becomes significantly quieter.
According to industry research (TNO + Kiwa GASTEC, Netherlands), removing air from the heat-transfer fluid combined with dirt removal saves up to 13% on gas — even without any other changes to the system.
