The Termojet DN32 angled magnetic dirt separator combines two principles of heat-transfer fluid purification with a convenient angled connection — inlet and outlet are positioned at 90°. This allows the separator to be installed where there is no straight pipe section: in built-in boiler rooms, technical cabinets, and pump groups in confined spaces. Flow capacity — 5.0 m³/h, the brass body is rated for 110°C and 10 bar. The removable neodymium rod captures magnetite Fe₃O₄ without a bypass or system shutdown.

How It Works

The heat-transfer fluid flow enters the chamber through the angled port and slows sharply in the expanded body. Non-magnetic particles — sand, rust, carbonate deposits — settle to the bottom by gravity. Simultaneously, the neodymium rod generates a magnetic field inside the chamber and attracts magnetite Fe₃O₄ particles that circulate in the system even after larger fractions have settled. This dual separation — gravitational and magnetic — occurs continuously. For maintenance: open the drain valve to discharge sludge; remove the rod, wipe off the black deposit and reinsert — without shutting down the heating system.

Applications

A straight separator is installed when there is a free straight pipeline section. An angled one — when the pipe makes a turn or when the distance between the wall and the pipeline does not allow installing a straight body. Both options are identical in operating principle and specifications.

Does the angled connection affect separation efficiency?
