How It Works

The heat carrier flow enters the expanded separator chamber and rapidly decelerates. The coalescent insert with a honeycomb structure collects micro air bubbles: they adhere to the surface, merge into larger ones and rise to the automatic air vent DN15, from where they are discharged to the outside. Simultaneously, solid particles — rust, sand, scale — settle to the bottom of the chamber under gravity. Draining the accumulated dirt takes a few seconds via the bottom drain valve without stopping the system.

Applications

• New heating system. Installed at commissioning — from day one the heat carrier remains clean and radiators heat up evenly.
• After flushing an old system. The separator captures residual sludge and corrosion products that cannot be completely removed by flushing.
• Gas or solid-fuel boiler. Protects the boiler heat exchanger from mechanical particles and air locks that reduce heat transfer.
• Underfloor heating. Fine particles clog the narrow pipes of the underfloor circuit — the separator prevents the manifold from becoming blocked.
• Heat pump. Removes air locks and mechanical particles from the heat pump circuit. Why is the 2-in-1 separator better than two separate ones?
For most systems — simpler and cheaper installation: one connection point, fewer fittings and welded joints. Two separate devices are justified only when the air separator and the dirt separator need to be installed at different points in the pipeline (for example, the air separator after the boiler, the dirt separator before the pump at a significant distance).

Where to install the combined DN25 separator?
