Constant differential pressure (Δp-c). The pump maintains a fixed pressure differential between supply and return regardless of the variable load of a large system. Δp-c mode is the standard for the main pump of an industrial boiler room, where load fluctuates with outdoor temperature and production schedule.
Proportional differential pressure (Δp-v). The differential pressure decreases proportionally to the flow rate. As load decreases the pump reduces speed: significant savings during day and night operation with varying consumption. Δp-v mode is particularly important for large facilities with a daily heat consumption profile.
For pumps of this class, the electricity savings from switching to ECM become significant in absolute kWh terms. A conventional unregulated DN65 pump consumes fixed power around the clock; the ECM motor of the APM-F 65/15 starts from 35 W and reaches the peak of 1650 W only at maximum flow. At partial loads (night-time, weekends) the difference on the meter is obvious. The electrophoretic housing coating protects against corrosion, EPDM seals last the full service life without replacement, and noise does not exceed 50 dB.

Why choose the APM-F 65/15 over the APM-F 65/12?
The APM-F 65/15 has a higher maximum head — 15 m versus 12 m. If the hydraulic resistance of your system is within 10–12 m, the APM-F 65/12 is sufficient. If the system has long mains or a large number of control assemblies, choose the APM-F 65/15.
