Operating Modes

Constant differential pressure — Δp-c. The pump maintains the set pressure difference between the supply and return lines regardless of flow rate. As the system load decreases, the pump smoothly reduces its speed — reliable and quiet operation without excess pressure.

Proportional differential pressure — Δp-v. The differential pressure decreases proportionally with the reduction in flow rate. This mode is optimal for industrial systems with variable load, where individual system branches are constantly opening and closing.

Why the ECM Motor is More Advantageous in Industrial Pumps

A conventional uncontrolled pump of this class would consume several hundred watts continuously throughout the entire heating season.
