Termojet AUTO APE 32/80/180 mm circulator pump — an energy-saving circulator pump of enlarged frame size with an ECM permanent-magnet motor and wet rotor. Constant differential pressure — Δp-c. The pump maintains a set pressure difference between the supply and return pipes regardless of the number of open circuits. Optimal for radiator systems with thermostatic valves: the system remains balanced at any load level.
Proportional differential pressure — Δp-v. The differential pressure decreases proportionally as the flow rate decreases. Recommended for underfloor heating systems and mixed circuits: at partial load the pump automatically reduces pressure and power consumption.
A conventional 3-speed DN32 pump consumes 80–100 W continuously, regardless of system load. The APE 32/80 consumes 5–65 W — the permanent-magnet motor with built-in frequency converter adapts the speed to the current demand. In a real system the pump operates at 20–40% of maximum output for most of the time, drawing just 10–25 W.
Wet-rotor technology — the fluid cools and lubricates the rotor without shaft seals. No parts subject to mechanical wear: zero scheduled maintenance throughout the service life.
In a large house with an extensive underfloor heating system, the heat pump produces a heat-transfer fluid at 30–55 °C. The high hydraulic resistance of a branched network requires a pump with increased head — the APE 32/80 with Hmax 8 m and Qmax 4 m³/h meets this need while remaining in the ECM consumption class. When to choose APE 32/80 instead of APE 25/60?
The APE 32/80 is suitable when the calculated hydraulic resistance of the system exceeds 6 m, or when the boiler and manifold have 1¼″ ports. Also choose the APE 32/80 if you are replacing an existing pump with a 1¼″ thread.
