Operating Modes

Constant differential pressure — Δp-c. The pump maintains the set pressure differential between the supply and return lines regardless of how many thermostatic valves are open. Recommended for classic radiator heating: when valves close, the pump does not exceed the set pressure but instead reduces speed and power consumption.

Proportional differential pressure — Δp-v. The differential pressure decreases proportionally to flow. When underfloor heating circuits partially close, the pump automatically reduces pressure and consumption — less noise, lower electricity bills. Δp-v mode is optimal for underfloor heating systems and combined schemes.

Why the ECM Motor Pays Off

A conventional 3-speed pump consumes 80–100 W continuously at the selected speed. The ECM permanent-magnet motor smoothly adjusts speed via an integrated inverter: in a real system, average consumption is well below the 45 W maximum, especially during the shoulder seasons. The wet rotor is submerged in the heating medium: the fluid cools and lubricates the rotor without shaft seals. No maintenance required throughout the entire service life.
