Termojet Distribution Manifolds: From Selection to Installation

A distribution manifold (header) is the component that splits the coolant flow between several independent circuits: radiator, underfloor heating, domestic hot water cylinder. The pump group of each circuit connects to the manifold.

Termojet Manifold Variants

The product code indicates the number and direction of branches. For example:

• К22В.125(200) — 2 circuits, branches upward; К22Н — downward; К22ВН — up and down.
• К32, К42, К52, К62, К82 — 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 circuits respectively.
• Sizes 125(200) and 150(300) — for different capacities and pipe diameters.

When choosing a manifold, count the number of circuits plus allowance for future expansion.

Manifolds with Hydraulic Separator (КГС)

The КГС series combines a distribution manifold and a hydraulic separator in a single body. This is the most compact solution for a multi-circuit boiler room: it both distributes flow and decouples the circuits from the boiler. Fewer connections means less space required and fewer potential leak points.

BOX Modules

For typical residential buildings there are ready-made Termojet BOX2 and BOX3 modules — a hydraulic separator and manifold for 2 or 3 circuits in a single insulated housing. Connect the boiler and the circuits — the boiler room is ready.

Materials

Steel with thermal insulation — standard for most systems. For underfloor heating, stainless steel manifolds with a flow meter on each branch are also used.

Installation

• The manifold is mounted on brackets, horizontally or vertically.
• An automatic air vent should ideally be provided on each branch.
• Upstream of the manifold in the circuit — a hydraulic separator or КГС, to decouple the circuits from the boiler.

A correctly selected manifold is the prerequisite for even heat distribution throughout the building without imbalances between circuits.
