The Termojet DN25 combined air and dirt separator is a 2-in-1 device that simultaneously removes microbubbles of air and solid particles (sludge, rust, sand) from the heating system fluid. Connection DN25 (1"), flow capacity 2,7 m³/h, operating temperature up to 110°C, pressure up to 10 bar. Body — brass. One installation point instead of two separate devices.

How It Works
One body — two functional principles. In the upper zone of the chamber a coalescent insert is placed: microbubbles adhere to the surface of the welded copper wires, merge into larger bubbles and rise to the automatic air vent — air is discharged to the outside. In the lower zone the flow velocity of the heating fluid drops sharply: solid particles — rust, sludge, sand — settle by gravity into the collection section. The accumulated sediment is discharged through the drain valve at the bottom of the body without stopping the system and without draining all the heating fluid.
Where and How It Is Used
New heating system at commissioning. The most effective moment for installation: two functions in one body protect the boiler, pump, and heat exchanger from all types of contamination from day one.
Renovation or flushing of an old system. After flushing, residual sludge and microbubbles always remain in the heating fluid. The combined separator removes both.
Residential system up to 30 kW. DN25 (1") is the standard diameter for medium-power domestic boilers.
Underfloor heating. Sludge and air in the underfloor circuit cause uneven heating and noise in the pipes. The 2-in-1 separator installed on the supply line before the manifold solves both problems.
Systems with a heat pump. The plate heat exchanger of a heat pump is vulnerable to contamination. For systems with a heat pump where magnetite is present, it is additionally recommended to install a magnetic dirt separator for heat pumps on the return pipe. Advantages
Two functions in one body — fewer fittings, fewer connection points, simpler installation, and lower overall cost compared to two separate devices.
Sediment drain via the drain valve without stopping the system — maintenance takes 30 seconds.
Continuous deaeration — quiet heating without gurgling, even warming of radiators.
Brass body — corrosion resistance and long service life at operating temperatures up to 110°C.
Related Products
If maximum flexibility is required — install the air separator DN25 at the hottest point (after the boiler) and separately the dirt separator DN25 before the pump. This approach allows optimal placement of each device. The full range is in the Termojet separator catalogue.
