Air separator Termojet Dn50 (2") 110°C/10bar

Termojet DN50 air separator is designed for heating systems in large buildings, boiler rooms, commercial and industrial facilities. Removes microbubbles and dissolved gas from the heat carrier in continuous mode. Thread 2", flow capacity 10.1 m³/h, limiting parameters — 110°C and 10 bar. Body — brass.

How It Works

The heat carrier enters the expanded separator chamber — the flow velocity drops sharply. The coalescent insert inside the body collects microbubbles: they settle on the branched surface of the insert, merge into larger bubbles, and rise upward. The upper part of the chamber is connected to an automatic air vent — it discharges accumulated air without any manual intervention. The process is not interrupted during system operation.

Where and How It Is Used

DN50 covers systems with a heat carrier flow rate of up to 10.1 m³/h — this is the typical range for boiler rooms and large commercial facilities. Typical installation points:

• Boiler room with multiple boilers. The separator is mounted in the supply manifold immediately after the boiler block — before the first branch to circuits.
• Systems with pump groups. Air locks disrupt pump operation and reduce head pressure. Deaeration after the boiler protects all pump groups simultaneously.
• Large underfloor heating systems. Branched underfloor heating circuits are particularly sensitive to microbubbles — gas blocks narrow loops and causes uneven heating.
• Systems after hydraulic balancing. When commissioning large systems after flushing and filling, the amount of dissolved gas is elevated — the separator removes it automatically during the first weeks of operation.
• Industrial and solar circuits. 10 bar and 110°C allow use with glycol-admixed heat carriers in high-pressure boiler rooms.
