Dirt separator TJ-CD-DN50M is an industrial-class device for protecting large heating systems against mechanical contamination. Connection DN50 (2″), flow rate up to 7,5 m³/h. The removable magnetic ring ensures capture of both ordinary sludge and rust as well as magnetite — the most dangerous contaminant for heat exchange equipment.

How It Works

The heat-transfer fluid flow enters a wide chamber and decelerates sharply — mechanical particles settle to the bottom under gravity. The removable magnetic ring around the chamber retains magnetic particles — iron sludge and magnetite Fe₃O₄ — that slip through the gravity zone. Accumulated dirt is drained through the bottom drain valve without stopping system operation. To service the magnetic ring, simply remove it, clean off the black deposit, and refit it.

FAQ

When to choose DN50 instead of DN40 or DN32?
The separator DN must match the DN of the main pipeline. If the system header is DN50 (2″), install a DN50 separator. Selection by flow rate: TJ-CD-DN50M is rated for 7,5 m³/h — systems with output approximately from 60 kW and above depending on the temperature differential.

Can a magnet be added to an already installed separator without one?
