Booster pump Termojet SILENCER 900 — an intelligent booster pump in a noise-insulated housing for automatic pressure boosting of cold and warm water in an apartment, house, or irrigation system. Power 0,9 kW, maximum head 55 m, maximum flow rate 7,5 m³/h, connection 1″ BSP. A variable frequency drive on a permanent magnet (PM) motor ensures stable pressure and minimum noise level from 45 dB.

Operating Principle and Protection

The intelligent variable frequency drive automatically adjusts the motor speed depending on the current water draw: when a tap is opened, the pump smoothly reaches the required speed and maintains stable pressure; when closed — it reduces speed or stops. This eliminates water hammer and provides even pressure in the system regardless of the number of open draw points.

Built-in protection against: motor overload, dry run (the pump will not be damaged in the absence of water), overvoltage and undervoltage, leakage. The wide supply range of 180–270 V is suitable for networks with unstable voltage.

Why a PM Motor is More Advantageous than a Conventional One

A permanent magnet (PM) motor with a built-in variable frequency drive has a higher efficiency compared to an asynchronous counterpart and smoothly regulates speed — the pump consumes exactly as much as needed to maintain the set pressure. At minimum water draw, consumption is significantly lower than maximum. The noise-insulated housing reduces the noise level from mechanical and hydraulic vibrations — from 45 dB under normal operating conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the SILENCER 900 be used for hot water?
Maximum medium temperature — 65 °C. The pump is suitable for warm water in water supply systems within this range. For hot water supply with temperature above 65 °C — not recommended.

Is the pump protected against operation without water?
Yes. The built-in dry run protection automatically stops the pump when water is absent and resumes operation after pressure returns. The pump will not be damaged by short-term interruptions in water supply. See Termojet pump groups.
