The Termojet TMV131 thermostatic three-way valve is a passive mixing device with a built-in thermostatic element for automatic outlet temperature control in the range of 20–43°C with an accuracy of ±2°C. Connection GZ 1" (male thread), flow coefficient Kvs 1,6 m³/h, maximum static pressure — 10 bar. The valve requires no power supply or maintenance throughout its entire service life.

Hot water from the boiler or water heater and cold water from the mains are supplied through two separate inlets. The thermostatic element in the valve body senses the temperature of the mixed outlet water and mechanically shifts the gate, adjusting the ratio of hot and cold flows — without any electronics. Deviation from the set temperature does not exceed ±2°C. Scald protection function: in the event of sudden cold water loss, the thermostatic element fully closes the hot water flow — no dangerous scalding water will reach the user. A sealed cap prevents unauthorized adjustment of the temperature limit.
When a heat pump operates with underfloor heating, the heat carrier temperature is typically 30–45°C. The Termojet TMV131 valve (20–43°C series) protects the floor circuit from rare temperature peaks — for example, when switching to backup supplementary heating or in bivalent mode. Why is a scald protection valve needed if there is a boiler thermostat?
The boiler thermostat controls the heat carrier temperature in the system, but not the water temperature at the point of use. Between the water heater and the tap, water can overheat — especially in solar systems or with low consumption. The TMV131 valve guarantees that water hotter than the set limit will never reach the tap or the floor circuit. For other sizes in the series — TMV121 GZ ¾" Kvs 1,6 and TMV231 GZ 1" Kvs 2,5.
What is the difference between Kvs 1,6 and Kvs 2,5 in the same 1" thread?
Kvs 1,6 is suitable for a single shower, washbasin, or small underfloor heating circuit up to 60–70 m². Kvs 2,5 (model TMV231) is designed for higher flow rates — for larger circuits or multiple points of use. Choose based on flow calculation or consult our specialist.
