Operating Principle

Three valve ports: A — hot heat carrier from the boiler, B — cooled return from the circuit, AB — mixed supply to the heating circuit. The actuator rotates the plug in the range 0–90° according to a 3-position or analogue controller signal. Smooth rotation angle change continuously regulates the proportion of hot and return flows — the supply temperature to the circuit is set and maintained automatically. EPDM seals guarantee leakage of less than 0.1% of Kvs even during prolonged operation in the closed position.

FAQ

When to choose DN32 instead of DN25?
DN32 Kvs 16 — for systems with a heat carrier flow exceeding 6–7 m³/h or boiler capacity from 40–45 kW. If the hydraulic resistance of the DN25 Kvs 10 valve exceeds 0.5 bar at the design flow rate — switch to DN32. For standard private homes with a capacity of up to 30–35 kW, DN25 is usually sufficient.

Can the DN32 valve be installed without an actuator?
Yes. The valve can be fixed manually in any plug position for a fixed mixing temperature setting. However, for automatic weather-compensated or proportional control, one of the compatible 405N or 411 series actuators is required — the system then maintains the optimal temperature automatically without manual adjustments.
