How It Works

The TRH-10 screws onto the radiator valve in place of the standard thermostatic head (M30×1.5 thread or with one of the 6 included adapters). On first installation, the thermostatic head performs initialisation: it fully opens and closes the valve twice to determine its stroke. The PID algorithm then precisely regulates the flow of heating medium, maintaining the set air temperature in the room.

Communication with the Smart Life app occurs via the EGW-100 hub: the thermostatic head sends a signal via ZigBee to the hub, and the hub connects via Wi-Fi to the Tuya cloud. Weekly programming, schedules, and “turn all off” scenarios — all settings are configured in the app.

• Radiator heating with room-by-room control. One thermostatic head per radiator — a room with no occupants automatically switches to Eco mode, reducing gas or electricity consumption.

Is the EGW-100 hub mandatory for the TRH-10 thermostatic head?
Yes. The TRH-10 uses the ZigBee 3.0 protocol and requires the EGW-100 hub to connect to the Smart Life app and for remote control. Without the hub, the thermostatic head can only be set up and used manually via the buttons on the housing.
