Operating Principle and Balancing

The manifold receives the heat carrier from the main line through the G 1" inlet and distributes it evenly across three underfloor heating circuits. The flow meter on each outlet is a rotameter with a transparent cap and a float indicator. By adjusting the flow meter valve, the installer sets the required flow in each loop — from 0 to 5 l/min. A longer loop has greater hydraulic resistance and, without balancing, receives less heat. The flow meters eliminate this imbalance: every room heats up equally, regardless of the pipe circuit length. The air vents at the top purge air when the system is started; the drain valves at the bottom are used for flushing or winterisation.

• Apartment or small house with 3 zones. For example: living room + bedroom + bathroom. Three independent circuits allow different temperatures to be set in each room using M30×1.5 thermal actuators.
• System with a heat pump. The manifold is suitable for low-temperature heat carrier 35–45°C, which is optimal for heat pumps. Stainless steel withstands long-term operation with glycol-based heat carriers.
• Part of a larger system. With 3 circuits in one wing of a house, the TJ-W-03 manifold is installed alongside a second manifold for the other wing — each zone is controlled independently.

If the heat source is a gas or solid-fuel boiler with a supply temperature above 55°C, a mixing unit for the manifold is mandatory — it reduces the temperature to a safe 35–45°C. With a heat pump, a unit may be needed for hydraulic separation or if the pump delivers more than 45°C.
